This story starts in Tipperary, Ireland in the 1840s and follows the life of Michael O'Keefe on his journey to Australia with his parents. It follows Michael's life through 90 years of Australia's history.

This story starts in Wales at the end of the 18th Century and follows the life of William "Charcoal" Williams as well as other settlers, convicts, Scottish immigrants and Irish political prisoners as their families interwrine to build the fabric of today's Australia. Other families involved in this story include:
Brooker, Dodds, Fennell, Hastie, Hindon, Jenkins, Liddell, McNeill, Ray, Ryder, Surman, Wade and Wilson.

The Pine Rivers Branch of the RAAF Association, Qld. Division was formed in 1997 to provide support and friendship for serving and ex-servicemen and women.

The Great Lakes Museum in situated in Tuncurry on the northern side of the ocean entrance to Wallis Lake (the largest coastal lake in New South Wales).  The museum is run by volunteers who are members of the Great Lakes Historical Society formed in 1976.
